How does this work?

Quite simply!
Set up a link like the following on your site:
<a href="http://www.poplist.de/poplist.php?p=X">YOUR TEXT</a>
You need to replace X with the performer ID.

An example: The link <a href="http://www.poplist.de/poplist.php?p=563">List Arcade Fire</a>
calls poplist with all positionings of the band Arcade Fire in all best-of-lists.

How do I get the performer ID?

Below this text you find a collection of all performers contained in poplist in alphabetical ascending order.
On the right hand site you find in green lettering the ID of the performer/band.
By the way: the name of the performer or band is shown as a link. Clicking this link will immediately display
the appearance of this link in poplist.
